Elixir Technologies Releases
DesignPro Tools 3.0
for AFP and Xerox Print Resource Design

VENTURA, CA – March 4, 2008 – Elixir Technologies Corporation, a leading developer of software for
creating and managing high-value documents of all types, today announced the release of DesignProTools 3.0, Elixir’s application for design of AFP and Xerox print resources.

With thousands of installations worldwide, DesignPro Tools is considered the de facto standard for AFP and Xerox print resource creation and editing. Following is a partial list of enhancements included in the new release:

• VIPP Pro Application Development
DesignPro Tools now offers support for VIPP Pro, the most efficient design and output for Xerox VIPP applications. Designs are
developed graphically without the requirement for VIPP coding and are then delivered as VIPP Pro JDT, DBM, or XDT files.

• Language Output Support
DesignPro Tools for AFP has enhanced support for double-byte Chinese, Japanese, and Korean (CJK). Visual PPFA adds Unicode data
support to Pagedef application development supporting the display of the document’s variable data as well as form images in the
  target language.

• Productivity Tools
The Manager supports resource updates across multiple forms including changes to fonts, graphics, and other elements. Resource
search and indexing has been added making it easy to determine all documents that use a particular resource. Resource packaging
has been added so that all production resources can be compressed into one ZIP file. This speeds up troubleshooting and moving
documents to alternate production locations by ensuring that all dependent resources are included.

• Graphical Interface Tools
Thumbnail views for form and image resources are available in Windows Explorer making it easier to locate these types of resources.
