Color Metacode Printing Capability
with Support for Xerox LCDS-Spectrum

VENTURA, CA – March 7, 2007 – Elixir Technologies Corporation, a leading developer of software for creating and managing high-value documents of all types, today announced its support for Xerox LCDS-Spectrum in two Elixir products, Opus, the company’s document design software for data-driven
printing and Elixir’s DesignPro Tools, for form design and Xerox native mode resource creation and editing.

Xerox LCDS-Spectrum allows customers previously restricted to black and white or highlight print to produce full color using the same document file, no redesign is required. Now any existing Metacode form can print in full color leveraging customers’ investments in documents and forms.

Both Opus and DesignPro Tools import the Elixir ELX format which is used by a majority of customers producing Metacode. This format can be sent directly to the LCDS printer to produce color versions of existing Metacode documents, or used as a template to create new documents.

Opus can produce highly personalized documents using variable data printing and supports a variety of printstreams. DesignPro Tools can be used in the same manner for color LCDS printing with the added benefit of native-resource editing of Xerox forms, fonts and graphics.

Elixir’s Opus and DesignPro Tools products coupled with Xerox LCDS-Spectrum provide two options for customers wishing to move to color Metacode.
