COLLABORATION for All Business Users in the Document Workflow
The Elixir Correspondence System extends dynamic document creation to any business user, at any desktop, from any location. Incorporating Elixir's custom workflow tools, the Elixir Correspondence System provides online access to smart document templates providing controlled document creation for any authorized business user. Personalized documents are created on-the-fly ---- built from libraries of corporate templates and pre-approved graphics, text, and other elements. The document templates are created using Elixir’s Opus software – a production-level development application which can apply the most sophisticated levels of conditional logic/business rules to document formatting. The Elixir Correspondence System makes it possible to include any business user in the document creation workflow while controlling the individual document elements at an organizational level. The custom workflow tools used in the Elixir Correspondence System can be integrated independently to manage any document-centric business process. 

CREATION and Content Management Across Design Environments
A valuable new application, the Elixir Resource Management System, now offers the framework and processes to manage document resources of all types. Fonts, logos, text blocks, printer resources – even the document itself – can be tagged with a sophisticated set of metadata that carries information about its version and effective date. This and other information is used to manage the release of documents and their discrete elements to the production environment. The Elixir Resource Management System provides content management for Elixir’s DesignPro Tools and Opus composition applications. Elixir’s Vitesse software for VIPP Pro application development adds Specialty Imaging to help protect against document fraud. VIPP Pro output has also been added to DesignPro Tools along with many other noteworthy enhancements in the new DesignPro Tools 3.0 release.

CONNECTING Citibank with its Customers
Elixir and Citibank continue to work together implementing Elixir’s composition and archive solutions into additional European Citibank locations. The two Elixir products, Opus and Blue Ocean, combine to serve Citibank’s statement production, distribution, and customer support processes. Opus produces custom-formatted statements for individual bank customers distributing them to production printers and/or via secure email. Simultaneous to production, a PDF version of each statement is produced and sent to Citibank’s archive. The bank’s Help Desk division uses Elixir’s Blue Ocean document archive to search and retrieve individual statements when customers call with questions.
