Using
eDelivery you can choose who receives what type of
communication, for example a bank might decide that:

Clients with
savings accounts greater than $50,000 get statements
with color graphics and follow-up phone calls to ensure
quality service;

Clients with
savings account balances between $10,000 and $50,000 get
a highlighted color statement, a follow-up email with a
link for web viewing of their statement, and a special
number to route them to lower-volume customer service
phones;

Those with
lower balances in their savings accounts get black and
white statements, and must call in to regular customer
service (and wait).
Using a single
document application, business communication can be
printed or distributed as FAX, email or a PDF attachment
to email. Alternate delivery methods include FTP, LPR,
Copy and Execute.
