Business Development Representative

Elixir is expanding its sales team and seeks a Business Development Representative to support our Account Executives and marketing team in identifying new sales opportunities. The ideal candidate will possess strong communications skills, technical aptitude, and a desire to grow and advance within an organization.

What You’ll Do…

  • Identify and develop qualified sales opportunities using a pre-defined qualification framework
  • Collaborate with Account Executives to conduct outbound prospecting into target accounts
  • Interact with inbound leads quickly and with relevant information
  • Surface various opportunity types including new logos, upsells, and expansions
  • Communicate with prospects via email, LinkedIn, phone, and video
  • Develop relationships with prospects and customers to educate them on Elixir’s products and services
  • Log activities and account information consistently and reliably within Salesforce
  • Complete training programs on sales, marketing, technology, and other critical skills

What You’ll Bring…

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Communication or related discipline
  • Two years in a sales, sales support, or customer relations role in a technology company (SaaS strongly preferred)
  • Familiarity and comfort with a remote and/or hybrid working model
  • Experience engaging with and qualifying inbound and outbound leads
  • Experience with business-to-business commerce and customer communications management software preferred
  • Experience selling into healthcare and/or financial industries preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365, Salesforce, and LinkedIn
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally, visually, and in writing with all levels of an organization, both internally and externally

$26-$30/hour plus uncapped commissions
