Sales Development Manager

Elixir Technologies is a self-funded software company that provides a cloud ComOps platform to manage customer communication for regulated industries such as insurance, healthcare, financial services, and government. By managing every phase of their customer communication content lifecycle, our customers have reduced time to implement new requirements by 70%, reduced defects by 60%, and met double digit growth goals.

The Sales Development Manager is a key member of the sales management team and will lead a team of BDRs responsible for identifying outbound leads and securing meetings for our sales organizations in North America. The right candidate will have experience developing an outbound B2B lead generation program to successfully engage with prospects in a repeatable, scalable manner.

Essential Functions

  • Build a team of employees, including making recommendations related to the hiring, retention, termination, and advancement of employees; scheduling projects and monitoring employees’ progress; handling employees’ grievances; coaching employees to achieve their full potential via Elixir Success and Quarterly Coaching programs; and acting as a Security Designate.
  • Develop and manage a successful outbound lead generation and management program
  • Manage internal sales development tech stack (Salesloft, Outreach, Gong)
  • Cultivate success by teaching and coaching a team of BDRs who:
  • Locate, research, and engage with key personas in prioritized accounts
  • Conduct account-based marketing techniques including ideal account profiles, persona-based targeting, researching business challenges of target companies and contacts, and developing personalized messaging to address them succinctly
  • Contact new prospects daily and adapt and articulate Elixir’s value proposition
  • Conduct high-level conversations with executives and target roles in prospective accounts
  • Utilize social media to share content for business development purposes
  • Maintain accurate and timely notes and reporting in Salesforce
  • Achieve and report on monthly targets for sales discovery meetings
  • Develop qualified sales opportunities to increase the sales pipeline with high-value deals

  • 5+ years of experience in a similar role
  • Experience using Salesforce
