Elixir Technologies is pleased to announce the appointment of Tarek Harry as its new CEO, replacing Basit Hamid, Elixir's founder and former CEO. Basit will assume the role of co-chairman along with Elixir's former president, Feroz Zaidi. Tarek has served on Elixir's Board of Directors since 2014. Prior to assuming the role of CEO, Tarek had served as Elixir's Chief Operating Officer since 2016, where his successes in implementing Elixir's cross-departmental strategies have transitioned the company into a multi-cloud organization powered by its flagship platform Tango.

"Tarek has grown up around Elixir Technologies and has seen the company grow from its early days into the international, innovative company that it is today. During Tarek's tenure as COO, he helped transform Elixir into an agile, data-driven company and I wish him success in his new role as CEO." - Basit Hamid, co-chairman, Elixir Technologies.

Tarek's appointment as CEO of Elixir Technologies comes on the heels of the company’s success with Tango, the most comprehensive, cloud-native, customer communications management platform on the market.

"I would like to thank everyone at Elixir who has worked across teams with me in my COO role to support the rapid, agile growth and success that we are seeing with Tango. I also want to give special thanks to my father, Basit, for being a great mentor to me and so many others over the years. As CEO of Elixir Technologies, I will continue to keep at the forefront my father's ‘compassion rules’ mentality, cloud-native advancement and horizontal managerial approach. My first focus is to provide an amazing experience for our customers on our Tango platform coupled with the outstanding services that we provide. Secondly, I want our employees to have that same amazing experience here at Elixir while they work, using a combination of cutting-edge cloud technologies, compassionate company culture, and outstanding benefits. The culmination of these two strategies will result in a better Elixir for all of our shareholders. To quote Jack Ma, ‘The customer is number one, the employee is number two and the shareholder is number three. If the customer is happy, the business is happy, and the shareholders are happy.’”
